A Workshop for the New Moon in Gemini, Full Moon in Sagittarius and the Astrology of June 3 - July 1
The new moon in Gemini arrives on June 3 at 3:02 AM PT. Situated with its ruler, Mercury, this new moon emphasizes the power of our words, thoughts, and communications. The new moon opposes Jupiter, emphasizing the impact of what we say and how we say it. Square Neptune, this new moon may have us missing a couple of key points, details or factors, making honesty and transparency a high priority.
This lunar cycle is complicated and summons our thoughtfulness. Come mid-June, some of the more challenging transits of the year happen, demanding our determination, due diligence, and compassion. It’s also the last new moon before we head into July’s Eclipse Season and the next Mercury retrograde, making the beginning of June a good time to get ahead on what we can, while we can.
The full moon in Sagittarius occurs on June 17th at 1:31 AM PT. Sitting with its ruler, Jupiter, this full moon is a moment of calm inside an astrological storm. Sandwiched in between days of difficult astrology, the full moon in Sagittarius offers a moment of reprieve and a reflection on the advancements that we’ve made while Jupiter has been in Sagittarius.
